Tales of Lady Goldfish

Well, I did get some stuff done.
I spent Thursday cooking and did my sewing throughout the break.
And I have to say, I'm glad with how most of it turned out.
The cooking was long, and it all started with me leaving my recipes and the cousins the day before. My aunt was kind enough to scan them, then email them to my mom.
After that I started on the pretzels. But first, it wouldn't turn into dough, and then, it wouldn't rise. So my mom came in to help.
As I was measuring in the sugar, my mom saw two things wrong. First, the temperature of my water was 0ff by 30 degrees. Second, I put 1 1/2 cups of sugar in, instead of 1 1/2 teaspoons.
How dumb can I get!!!
But it was fixed and turned out nice.
I also made some puff pastries with a white chocolate filling, as well as banana bread.
By dinner time on Thursday, I was exhausted.
As far as the sewing, I made a dress, some tops, and a few other accessories.
I would love to put some pictures of what I made. But my computer still will not let me.
