I am fully aware of how long it has been since my last post. But I don't often write when I'm bored, and I haven't been bored lately.
Lets see. What have I been up to? I still the those annoying twitch and the headaches that come with it. I got one of them last Saturday when I was in Nebraska with some of my youth group. I was so upset cause I couldn't fully enjoy the trip.
It was a great trip though.
We left town about 8:00 am, and were in the car for what felt like 7 hours, but I'm not sure. We took my church's van, and I'm used to long and cramped car rides in that thing. although it usually involves at least one of my family members. Which was not the case this time.
I got home Sunday evening before the Oscars, and spent the rest of the night watching them with my family.
I've been the little free time I have on my room. I'm really trying to get it organized. I'm currently focused on my jewelry. I've finished making and painting the fixtures for my necklaces my bracelets.
Well that's what I've been up to.
I'll share more when it comes.
Peace.

And then Jesus was like "oh no you di'int."
My big brother took his camera with him back to college. So now I'm working on getting my own. I have it narrowed down to two, and I intend to check them out when I go to get my passport with my parents. As soon as I get it you can expect a bucket load of new pictures.
At the moment I am trying to re-organize my room. But it has been hard to do that on top of school, work, and other commitments I have going on. It doesn't help that I've been getting head aches and missing out on sleep.
The head aches are explained by this weird twitch in my left eye. It's the worst when I'm reading. Which makes school take longer than it should.
As for the sleep, I just don't seem to fall completely asleep. It is driving me nuts.
But who really wants to hear me complain?
Until later.
Peace.

To all the men I have loved. pt. 1
I don't have any new pictures, and my brother is taking the camera I've been using back with him to college. So I think it is time to buy my own camera. I have no idea where I'm going to get the money for it.
But for now, I'll share with you one of my favorite recipes.
Pasta with creamy basil sauce.
6 ounces rigatoni
1 clove garlic, pealed
1 1/4 cups lightly packed fresh basil leave (if you don't have basil leaves you can use 1 1/4 cups snipped spinach with i teaspoon dried basil. Not the same, but close.)
3/4 cup cottage cheese
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon fresh ground pepper
1 medium tomato, chopped
1 ounce crumbled blue cheese
Bring 3 quarts water to a boil. Cook the rigatoni according to the package.
While it is cooking, place the garlic in a food processor bowl; process until chopped. Add the basil and cottage cheese: process until smooth. remove the cover and stir in the salt and pepper.
Drain the pasta. Return the pasta to the hot pan. Stir in the basil sauce. Transfer to a warm serving dish and top with the chopped tomato. sprinkle the blue cheese and serve.
It makes around 4 servings.
Hope you like it.
Peace.

If it were and Ipod, it would be a shuffle.
I got my tickets!!!!
For Germany that is.
I'll be there for the most of august. I'm so exited, but a little nervous.
I don't know much German, and I'm afraid I wont know enough by the time I get there.
But worries aside, it'll be great. I just hope I can contain myself until then.
The next thing to do is get my passport.
Sean and I are both going to Germany, so we both need a passport.
Since Sean is home for a few days, so I hope to get them when he's here.
That's basically all that has been going on.
I will leave you with some photos taken on my way home from work.
I get to see this almost everyday.
It's my favorite part.

I can tell that we are going to be friends
Ok, I know I lied about the other post, but I was just to tired.
So here is yesterday's post.
Lately I've been wearing rather boring clothes. Today's outfit was no exception.
I have to wear pants to work, and when you're wearing pants everyday it's hard to be inspired. I can't wait until its warm outside to I can wear some skirts.
I had just found the corgos a few days ago and figured is should wear them.

The top is a layered thin tank over my trusty gray shirt.
As I said, boring.

Now, I have a slight problem.
My hair is in that in between stage.
No longer the short hair cut it used to be, it has become slightly unmanageable. I cant fully pin it back and I cant keep it down unless I straighten it.
I hate straightening my hair.

But whatever.
Here are my latest projects.
Hat #1
A black and white drawstring hat.

Hat #2
I call it my monster hat.
Does it need a nose?

And finally, my quilted cuff.
I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out.

Peace.

searching for meaning without a map
This one is gonna be short, but I intended to post again later.
Anyways, a friend told me about pandora.com. You type in an artist or song and they find a station with that kind of music.
I am addicted.
I've been looking for some more music, and this has people you wouldn't think of.
But I'm still looking for some music.
I don't like country, rap from after the mid ninties, and metal, other than that I'm open.
Any suggestions?

Maybe he has something against cults.
So this is my outfit for church this morning.
Besides the face it's pretty normal.

But the shoes are what give its "snap".

Oh, what? you want another look.

Now, I rarely do much in the way of shoes. In fact, I rarely even wear shoes.
But I haven't worn these for awhile.
On a completely different note.
I need a new sewing machine.
The one I'm using now is my mom's.
It's a 20 sum year old Kenmore.

That was my Sunday.
Peace.
