The future, according to some scientists, will be exactly like the past, only far more expensive.

I've been doing my little thrifty thing lately. And what started as clothes shopping, turned into jewelry/clothes shopping. Here are a few of the things I got.
I am loving with this ring. It's big, it's round, and it sits on my child size hand.
It is really hard for me not to buy at least one set of earrings. I'm pretty proud of myself for stopping at two.
I bought this for Emma. It looks great with her red hair.
My three new summer dresses.
And my best buy thus far. My Bono bag.

Peace.

I don't suffer from insanity. I enjoy every minute of it.

I have decided that I didn't want to come home from Germany to my always messy room.
So I have decided to clean, and I mean really clean. All my stuff are going into boxes now.
I have found the secret to a clean room, and it is boxes boxes and more boxes. No longer will I just throw my stuff on my shelves. It is all going to be organized in boxes before it goes on the shelf.
I am also trying to hang less stuff up.
I've found that If I don't have to hang it up, I am more likely to put it away. Why? I have no idea.
But all of this reorganizing means I have to get ride of a few things. It sucks now, but I'm hopping it will all pay off.
I feel kind of rushed to get this all done. I leave for Chicago on the first and get back on the fifth. And then on the tenth I leave for Germany. Which leaves me very few days to do both shopping and packing for Germany. So I decided to get it all the shopping done for both trips in one go. Which leaves me with one very long shopping list. Which is in the same notebook as my very long "to do" list. When I look at either I feel suddenly overwhelmed. Hopefully I can make a dent in one of them soon, as well as get my room cleaned.
Well that seams like all for now.
Peace.

A pedestrian hit me and went under my car.

I'm sorry it has taken me this long, I had a few problems with the computer.
But here are a few of the pictures from my road trip.

Plane.
We left early left early Saturday morning from the cities to New York, and from New york the West Palm Beach.

The view from my window.
I had the window on the flight to New York, Sean had it to Palm Beach.

Ummmmm. My book.
Oh, and this will be the only picture you see of my jeans. Because i left the in Meg's apartment before we got on the road.

Florida!!!

We went to see Meg's school first, and then to the beach.

Meg in her class.

Meg's school.

I was really nice outside, I kind of wished I had brought my swim suit.

That's right, I stuck my feet in the ocean.

It was soooooooooooo pretty.

At one point Sean thought he should expose his pale stomach the the very tan people of Florida.

Day 1 of road trip.

Sean and I spent a good part of the day asleep.

And here are a bunch of random pics.

I got really excited and thought this thing was in the sky, but it turned out it was only a reflection off the car window.

Day 2 of road trip.

6:30 in the morning does not a happy Sean make.

It was pretty cool to see the fog roll back over the hills.

Need I say more?

Yeah, we got to ride behind this for awhile. Not at all bad to look at, if you ask me.

Giant cross.

We took a little break for some dairy queen.

And saw this in the parking lot.

Nashville.

we stopped and had some dinner with Eric, and then took a look at his place.

Sean and Eric.

Meg and Eric's roommate Michael.
So that was the trip.
I'm going to Chicago in a few weeks, so you'll see some picture from that trip. But I plan to put up some more soon.
Peace.

Nothing is illegal until you get caught

I got back late last night from my Florida road trip. I have some great pictures share, but I haven't yet put them on the computer.

In the mean time, I found this some and I think it is hilarious.

Peace.

Every song a hit, every hit a smack

Every time my little siblings and I hear "The Way I Am" by Ingrid Michaelson, we add in a few of our own lyrics. I don't fully remember where we got them all, bu my parents seem to get a kick out of them.

"The Way I Am"
If you were falling,
(what would you do)
then I would catch you.
(I'd catch you too)
You need a light,
(I am your light)
I'd find a match.
(that's me!!)
Cause I love the way you say good morning. And you take me the way I am.
If you are chilly,
(what would you do)
here take my sweater.
(I made it for you)
Your head is aching,
(here take some Advil)
I'll make it better.
(yay)
Cause I love the way you call me baby. And you take me the way I am.
I'd buy you Rogaine,
(oh snap)
when you start losing all your hair.
(oh crap)
Sew on patches
(make sure it matches)
to all you tear.
(rip!)
Cause I love you more than I could ever promise. And you take me the way I am. You take me the way I am. You take me the way I am.
Peace.

Maturity is only a short break in adolescence.

OK, so not that long ago I went shopping with my little brother.
We were in the gardening section when I spyed a hat I was convinced I needed.
After putting on the hat, I realized it fit in great with my overalls.
Add in a shovel, and you've got "farmer girl."

Peace.

When the pin is pulled, Mr. Grenade is not our friend.

Just a little something from winter last year.

Before.

During.

After.
I don't know if you can see the look of fear on my little brothers face, but it was brilliant.
Later.
Peace.
p.s. click on the third picture and you can see the face of which I speak.
